Emotiva amp module replacement!

Hi I'm working on a Emotiva 5 channel power amp supplied by a customer, when it arrived it was faulty with smoke poring out the top where a amp module had blown. They sent a new module which took a months to come and then the fun starts. There is a amp protection lead that links one amp to the other, you think that's not a problem ha ha the new amp module doesn't have one! There answer.
Take it off the old one, so de-solder the 8 pin connector and put it on the new one. Now that's not what a customer or a installer should have to do with a new product. I know it's a forum favourite but be careful it's a right pain to do.

Emotiva Amps

Installed this 2 Channel power amp today (supplied by client).

Tried to install the 5 Channel a moth ago (supplied by client) which had a faulty amp module.
They sent a new one FOC which arrived a month later. Only to find out today they sent the end of line/2 channel amp mod with no link lead Doh!
Also be aware you can't just cut the plug off and jam it in a UK plug as it needs a 20A supply and our plugs are 13A max rated. It will get hot and potentially melt and catch something on fire so get a electrician involved.
